Ruby White Tips P**** Wagon

Happy Friday my loves!  You should see the snow we got, holy crapoly!!  And it's still snowing :D  Tyler and I spent about .. 3 hours total shovelling out his mom's driveway, we took a little break in the middle though, and got to have some homemade peanut butter cookies that his mom made for us :)  YUM!!!  And Owen was outside with us playing in the snow and looked like an abominable snow puppy by the time we came in for our break .. so cute :D

Today I have a beautiful polish that the lovely Laura from Ruby White Tips sent to me for review.  It is from her new Kill Bill Collection.  I have never watched a Kill Bill movie, so I have no idea what the names of these polishes are in reference to, but I just want to say that the name of this polish, Pussy Wagon, makes me feel really dirty when I type it out (I tend to refrain from talking about "nether regions" in any type of context), so I'm just going to call it "PW" for the rest of the post.  Sorry Laura, I'm weird like that, hope you don't mind :)

This is a really stunning grey-to-pink duochrome.  I love that it is grey-to-pink, it's not a combination you see a lot of in the polish industry and I really love the neutral/bright combination.  This is 2 super easy coats of PW over bare nails.  It has excellent coverage seeing as normally a duochrome like this would normally be sheer and best applied over a creme base.

The dry time for this polish is super fast which is really nice especially if you are in a hurry.  I topped it with Butter London's PD Quick Fast Dry Top Coat and used Julep's Quick Dry Drops as well (I was just about to shower and go to bed so I didn't want to take a chance on ruining my nails).

In different lighting, there are different colours that flash through this polish.  Under fluorescent lighting, there is a tint of purple in the shimmer, where under "normal" indoor lighting it's mostly pink-ish.

I also tried it topped on a few colours on a nail wheel.

I prefer it over black myself, but you could try it over any colour to see what it does.  I will say that the base for this polish is pretty "over powering" so it will alter the base colour you use.
