YAY it's Wednesday!  Hopefully today and tomorrow go by fast cause I'm ready for the weekend already!  I hope this weekend isn't as humid as last weekend though.

Today I have for you another crackle .. yeah, yeah, I know .. crackles are "so last year" but I like 'em :)  I put Julep Hermione over China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise that I showed you yesterday.

Morning ladies and gents!  Did my Canadians survive the long weekend?  We had such beautiful weather all weekend, considering normally the temperatures plummet and it rains and/or snows on this weekend here in Ontario.  I did hear that in Newfoundland they received almost 60cm of the white stuff over the weekend.  *_* Wish I was there... :)

Anywho, onto the nails.  I was in a bit of an "I don't want to post" mood last week, so these are from last week when the COTW was NEONS.  This is China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise.  I'm not going to lie to you, I did use the brighten scale on my photo editing program to lighten these pictures up, but that's because they were pretty dark.  Not sure what is up with my light box... *sigh*

H is for HAPPY BIRTHDAY OWEN!

Happy Sunday!!  Today is my baby boy's 3rd Birthday!  I can't believe that he is 3 already.. they grow up so fast!  Today is going to be filled with lots of R&R for us as a little family, and we will be headed to Tyler's house for a BBQ, which we have told Owen it's his birthday party ;)

If you are fairly new here, Owen is mine and my fiancé Tyler's furbaby.  He is a Chow/Jack Russell cross, and the love of our lives :D  We treat him as if he is our own flesh and blood, and a birthday is no different!  He got some presents from his Aunt Sarah (my sister) this morning, and I made him some homemade dog treats as well.  I will put pictures up of those at the end, but you came here for the nails!

Now, I didn't time it so that Owen's birthday would fall on the first day for "H" week, that's just how it worked out, and it couldn't have been more appropriate!  If you want to jump in on the ABC Challenge, you're more than welcome to at any time!

Orly Beach Cruiser

Evening everyone!  I hope everyone had a good day!  Mine was pretty busy, I feel like I got nothing done!

It's NEON WEEK in my polish group so be prepared to bust out the shades all week ;)  I decided to start with Orly Beach Cruiser!

Ok.. so this doesn't look as bright on camera as it is in person.. but trust me, it's BRIGHT!!!  I am completely in love with this polish and will definitely be wearing it more, although this is the first time I have worn it and I've had it since last fall.

The pictures show 3 coats of Beach Cruiser with top coat.  It's a typical neon that requires top coat to really pop as it did dry with a matte/rubbery finish.  I needed to apply 3 coats because after the second coat it was still a little streaky, so I smoothed it all out with a third.

I really love neon polishes!  I want to say they are my first favourite but I don't have a lot of them.  I have a couple different pinks though, so I will try to do a comparison post one of these days with them :)
