Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Mudslide

Howdie everyone!  Today's post is a polish that my mom had in her little (itty bitty) polish stash that she didn't want anymore, so I said I would take it and at least try it out :)  I'm still not sure about this one though, so let me know what you think :)  This is Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Mudslide.

This is 2 coats of Mudslide.  I like the colour, but I don't know if I like it on me, so I'm on the fence about it. It's a very camel-type brown, or suede maybe.  Actually, it looks like the colour of my car after driving up and down our dirt road when it's raining.. LOL!

As you can see, I did get some bubbling, but I'm not sure if that was something on my nail, imperfections in my base coat, the polish, or when I added the top coat.  When you see what I did with this tomorrow, you will see that it didn't bother me in the slightest :)

Can I also just say that while I really love the Sallyl Hansen "salon" brushes, I seriously hate how the stick for the brush (stem?  not sure what the technical word is) is square AND almost the same size as the neck of the bottle.  This drives me absolutely up the wall!  More often than not, I get polish all over the neck because the sides of the brush stick hits it when you are dipping for more polish, scraping it onto the neck.  I definitely prefer the round brush stick to the flat.

I'm not sure where or when my mom got this, but I know the Sally Hansen Salon Manicure polishes are available at most WalMarts and drugstores.

  1. I am attracted to shades like this and always find they look horrible on my nails - great for a lipstick/gloss but not on my nails - I get lobster hands from this shade tan/brown.

    1. I like them too, but like you, when I get them on they don't look as good as I thought they would have.
