Julep Nora

Happy Hump Day!!  The week's half over, yay!  Soon time for the weekend again :D

Today I have Julep Nora.  This is one of the suedes that came out in the November Maven boxes and I was pretty excited about them even though some of the other Mavens weren't.  As I am fairly new to the nail world, I had nothing even remotely close to this in my collection.  Of course I picked the Maven box with the purple suede ;)

I LOVE the suedes!!  They apply so nicely and dry so quickly, though I did have a slight mishap on my right middle finger before it dried completely.  This is 2 coats of Nora with the Julep Matte Top Coat over top.  I love that it's matte so it's not in-your-face shiny, but it has that muted sparkle that gives it something a little extra.  I also was under the impression, so I must have read it somewhere, that suedes show imperfections in your nail really badly, but I didn't notice on mine - I have a few nails that have peeled so they have little indents where it has peeled.

Anywho, I promise this is a purple polish though it does look slightly pewter-y in these pictures.  All of the Julep suedes are very neutral.  I also have Hailee, which is the green suede, and in the bottle they are tricky to tell apart just because they are both very grey-toned.

I think this is my favourite polish style, other than creme :)  It's just so pretty!  Don't forget, if you want more information on the Julep Maven program to check out my Julep Maven page!

Make sure to come back tomorrow to see what I did with this :D

    1. Let me know if you do have this one! I would love to see a picture of it on your nails!! It's just slightly purple, and I'm sure if it was side-by-side with a true pewter suede, you would be able to tell :)

  2. Haha, I have these two as well and they are SO hard to tell apart! I do love both of them and the quick dry is a selling point for me when I want to do something quick that doesn't involve multiple coats. :)

    1. I do love that they are fast drying, and you're right, they really only need one coat! I tried Hailee (the green) to stamp, but it dried too quickly :( Otherwise I think they would work.
