NOTD: Braided Nail Art

Happy ManiMonday everyone!  I decided, after seeing this nail art around the web that I needed to try it.  Then, Mary over at Swatch and Learn did Braided Nails twice (Fishtail Braid Nails and Summery Fishtail Braid Nails), and cutepolish posted this tutorial video on YouTube, I knew it was time! :D

I used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Celeb City, Julep Morgan and Jordana Black for this design.

What do you guys think of Braided Nails?  Have you tried Braided Nails?  If you have, share them with us on my Facebook page so we can all see :D

    1. Haha, it's actually so easy Lauren! Just have to take your time and it will turn out beautifully :) That's why I only did my thumb and ring accent fingers ;)

    1. Thanks neenee! I love the braided nails, I think they are so interesting! The Julep Morgan is my favourite polish I own. If I could only have one polish, this is what it would be, for sure!

    1. It can be a bit of work, but I work 8-5 Monday-Thursday (on a 4-day work week) and I go to the gym every night after work, unless I have an appointment, so I don't get home till about 7:00-ish. Then by the time I eat, get my nails done and do up a post, sometimes it can be around 11 by the time I get into bed. I need my "beauty sleep" (about 10 hours a night) so this is cutting into my sleeping time, but I think it's worth it :D I enjoy doing it and love knowing that other people are getting a "kick" out of it :) If you do start a blog, you don't have to post every day, I have just chosen to ;) Let me know if you start one up and I will definitely add you to my "following" list :D

  4. Thanks Essie Rae! It's pretty easy even though I thought it looked a little intimidating before finding tutorials for it :)

The colours you chose for this look are stunning together. Very well planned and executed! I know that this post will inspire a lot of others to recreate the look. Great job! :D

And thank you so very much for the shout-out in this post. I appreciate it!

    1. Not a problem, I like giving credit where credit is due, and I love your blog :D My favourite colour is purple, and I thought it would look quite spiffy with black and silver. I would love to paint my car these colours! :D
