Good evening my loves! I only have 3 more days of freedom until I have to go back to work :( It's going to suuuuck getting up Monday morning. I asked my mom this morning if we HAD to go back and she said "no, if we win the lottery" so I told her I was counting on that ;)
Today I have for you a polish I got back in October in a swap with Dayana from my SMYTC Facebook group, and I seriously do not know why I have waited so long to try this one!
This is 2 super easy coats of Orly Fowl Play. This is a dark plum purple jelly base, which is fully opaque in the 2 coats, with what I thought was pink/red glitters and blue microglitters, but when you look at these pictures, where the sunlight hits the polish directly it is like a flakie top coat. This is a gorgeous polish, and I think it's fairly easy to find - it is part of the Birds of a Feather collection.
This is my second time ever using Orly polish, the only other colour I have polished with myself is Ingenue (not yet on the blog) and I remember it was very easy to use as well.
This is so pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kara! It really is beautiful and I can see myself wearing it more often, I hope :)
DeleteI love swatches of this polish, but whenever I try to apply it, I have horrible luck! It just doesn't apply that great on me...lots of pulling and bald spots. I will have to try again because this polish is a real gem.
ReplyDeleteOh really?? I'm sorry! This applied so easy for me, I didn't have any pulling or dragging.
DeleteThis is a polish I wear when I can't decide what to wear. Originally I thought I would LOVE it but when I wore it I just thought it was ok. :/
ReplyDeleteOrly makes such great polish! I don't know why I don't own more of them!
ReplyDeleteI went a bit nuts when this came out - I bought 3 bottles of it thinking I would use it when I had a passion to put on my OPI Midnight Magic that I have 3 bottles of also but don't like to wear it - or did not like to wear it out of fear I would run out...but having MM and soooo loving it - this Orly is OK if you don't have MM - but if you do have MM and are OK about using it...the Orly seems to send the particles in it into hiding a bit compared to Midnight Magic. I play with the Orly now and again trying to find ways to make the goodies it has in it pop!
