Julep Claudette

All polishes are purchased with my own money unless stated otherwise.

Yay, it's Thursday!!  What kind of plans does everyone have this weekend?  I'm doing my final exam tomorrow for my course, and other than that, I have no plans!

Today I have for you Julep Claudette from the February Maven box.

This is 2 coats of Claudette.  This is a really pretty "true" brick red colour.  When I was putting it on it almost looked a little brown-ish, but it could have been the lighting (side table light, at night, with the room's main light off.. yeah that could have been it...).  This polish was a little thick to work with, I may have to add some thinner to it the next time I use it, so if you have this and haven't tried it yet, just make sure to be careful when applying it.  I found that it was glooping at the tips of my nails a little.  More-so on my right hand, but it wasn't noticeable when it was dry.

I really love this colour!  It came in the February Maven box, but I don't know that it is really a spring colour (I know the theme was the Oscars).  I would have expected a colour like this more in the fall, but I wear whatever colour of polish I want whenever I want (I do what I want, as Tyler would say) :)  I don't follow seasons or trends (as you will see in tomorrow's post ;) ).

Again, if you want to become a Julep Maven, make sure to check out the information page, and click on the link to take your style quiz and sign up :)

    1. It's really pretty, definitely not what I was expecting, but I love it just the same. I'm definitely an earth-tone kinda gal, though I do love my neon polishes too!
