Gel II Lala Me

HAPPY FRIDAY!!  It's a rainy day here, so what else is better than staying inside and blogging and polishing :D

Today I have a review for Gel II Lala Me.  This is by far my favourite of the ones I have!!

This is 2 coats of Lala Me over bare nails with the Gel II top coat.  For more information on the application of the Gel II gel polishes, check out my first review polish.

Lala Me is a GORGEOUS grape purple scattered holographic gel polish.  It went on really easily, but I did notice that it probably requires 3 coats rather than 2; I am noticing a few spots where I can see the nail through the polish.  However, I'm probably the only one that will notice it :)  Next time I will definitely be using 3 coats though!  It reminds me of Zoya Aurora, but Aurora is a darker purple, so they aren't exactly the same ;)

I also did notice that the gel seemed to recede off the tips of my nails and I'm not sure why that is.  I'm not sure if you are supposed to wrap the tips of your nails when you use gel polish?  Anyone have any tips on this?  So I did put a little extra gel polish on the ends, so the tips of my nails are a little thicker than the rest of my nail, but again, only something I will notice.

Have you tried gel polishes yet?  I love them for the way that they last on the nail, it makes polished nails more durable and long lasting!  You can also do nail art daily (just remove with acetone-free remover) until you are ready to remove the gel.
