Hallowe'en Mani #2

Hey everyone!  Hopefully you are enjoying the last day of your weekend - I don't want to go back to work tomorrow :(  I thought I would take today to do up some blog posts so that I have something to post for the rest of the week, since I have been slacking on that, hardcore!

Today I have my Hallowe'en Mani #2 for you :D  I love the way this one came out, so let's take a look!

For this, I applied one coat of Different Dimension Bazinga! (from the Big Bang Theory collection) over 2 coats of China Glaze Ingrid.  The combination felt very fall/Hallowe'en-ish to me, and I loved the way it looked!  With it being Stamping week for COTW on my Facebook group (I think we are changing it to Mani Of The Week - MOTW), I decided to stamp the little devil guys from BM-305 and Julep Mystery Yellow.  This polish stamped surprisingly well :)  They are just so cute!

Then I decided to see what it looked like mattified, and I love it even more!

I really love stamping, it makes nail art so easy!  This is also my first time stamping over a glitter, and while I see it on a couple of the blogs that I follow, I have never tried it because I was afraid that when I did it, the stamping would take away from the glitter.  In this case, I think it definitely added to it :D

Happy Monday all!  What did everyone do over weekend?  Me, I was at a friend's all weekend.  We went to watch The Host, hang out, and eat junk (shhhh don't tell Tyler!).  I had what I wanted to put on my nails all in my head and it didn't pan out because I was thinking of a polish and had the wrong name in my head, so I ended up wearing Julep Oxygen all weekend, and it held up so well!  I was so pleasantly surprised :D

Today I have for you a little addition to the mani I showed you Thursday.

Today I have for you Different Dimension Sparkles Like Edward.  As with all the polishes I have been showing you lately, this is another one I have had since the late summer/early fall and I have just tried it for the first time!  Again.. why did I wait so freaking long?!

I have already swatched this but wanted to redo it over bare nails to follow the same as the rest of the collection :)

I know, I know, I'm cutting it really close for today!  I apologize this is so late in the day but I have been really distracted tonight.  I had my nails painted like 2 hours ago and I am finally getting to posting this.

Happy Sunday everyone!  Tomorrow is the day I get back into the swing of things - back to work, back to healthy eating and back to working out.. *sigh* I don't wanna!  Haha!  I know I will start feeling a lot better, not as "blech" about everything once I get back into my "healthy living" program.  I don't call it "dieting" because when I tell people that I am on a diet they look at me and say "why do you need to be on a diet?!" because society has turned the word "diet" into a negative thing, when really we are all on a "diet" - whether it's a healthy diet or a junk-food diet.

Today is the second instalment of the Different Dimensions Big Bang Theory collection, and I have for you Bazinga!.

Different Dimension Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock

Well, it looks like the Christmas break is winding down.  Only another 50.5 weeks till it's that time of year again :D  Ok, I'll stop, hehehe :P

Today, by popular request, I have for you Different Dimension Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock from the Big Bang Theory collection.  It's quite a mouthful of a name for a polish, that's for sure!  I love Big Bang Theory, it's definitely my favourite TV show!  I wish I could have a friend like Sheldon Cooper, but he would probably drive me batty!

Different Dimension Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty

Hey everybody!  Sorry I'm so late getting this post up.  I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend :)

I had a request from Kara at Never Gonna Give You Up to swatch my Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty from Different Dimension's Big Bang Theory collection.  So to make at least one reader happy, I was happy to do it :)

These pictures are 2 coats of Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty over 2 coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On. The glitters (grey-blue metallic medium hexes, white metallic large hexes, random shaped white metallic) are in a really pale grey jelly polish that has a slight micro shimmer.

For those of you who aren't fans of the show Big Bang Theory, firstly -- what rock do you live under?!  :D  Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty comes from the song that Sheldon's mom used to sing to him when he was sick.  Now that he is not at home he gets Penny to sing it to him :)

The glitters are a little tricky to place, but overall it's a good polish :)  I'm not sure how often I will wear this polish though, just because of the "work" it takes to get it on and the work it will take to take it off :(  However, I don't know if I can break up the collection... :S  Oh the issues of being an OCD polish-a-holic!
