Dot Shower Mani - Facebook Request

Good morning, happy Monday!  Tyler and I were looking at the weather forecast for this week and they are predicting wet flurries over night for all of this week :D  YIPPEE!!!  (Yes, I'm sick in the head, it's all good ;) )

Today I have a mani I did a while back (and the last of my "draft" posts) that was suggested to me by a Facebook fan and friend, Kim!  I asked my followers to send me links of manis they wanted me to try to replicate and she was the only one with suggestions, and she continues to send me suggestions from time to time.  Here was the inspiration for this mani.  Let's take a look at what I did :)

Hallowe'en Mani #3

Good morning and Happy Thursday!!  Last day of the work week for me, and it's that much closer to Turkey weekend here in the Great White North!  Yahoo!!  I love turkey dinners - aside from all things pasta, turkey is my favourite meal.  But you have to have all the trimmings - stuffing, potatoes, turnip, coleslaw, peas, gravy... and grandma's homemade apple pie *drool*  My cousins and I are in charge of dessert this year, so not sure if we will get some of grandma's apple pie.  I think it's high-time I got the recipe from her, no?

Alrighty, onto the nails!  This is the third Hallowe'en mani I have done, and I love the look of them every time I see them, so of course I had to do them again this year - Candy Corn Nails!

Pink and Grey Mani

Hey everyone!  I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  My sister came and spent the day with me on Friday and I did her nails.  She chose to do pink and grey, and when I was done, I told her she should do grey polka dots on the pink accent nail.  She "doesn't like polka dots" and is "blah" (her words) so we left it as grey on all nails and pink on ring accent nails.  I told her I was going to do my nails to match, but I was going to add polka dots and she was going to wish she did polka dots on hers!  Here is what I did:

F is for Flowers

Evening folks!  It was such a beautiful day today and I felt so retarded being cooped up inside at work, and then being cooped up working out in the gym.  My sister wasn't home when I was done work so I didn't have a walking buddy, and I thought that Tyler might give me the "look" if I didn't go and do weight training tonight :)

Today I have for you my F mani for the ABC Challenge!  Again, this isn't what I had planned to do, but my plan sounded like too much work when I went to do my nails last night, lol!

February Nail Art Challenge Day 8

Howdy readers!!  It's Thursday, my last day of work - yippee!!!  Bring on the weekend so I can sleep in :D

Today is Day 8 of the Challenge, can you believe it's almost over?!  Only one more day to go, what ever will I do when it's all over?!?!  Day 8 is all about Polka Dots :D  I love me some dotticures, they are so easy to execute and the combinations are seriously endless!  All you need is polish and something pointy.  Personally, I use a tailor's pin stuck in the eraser of a pencil, an unfolded paperclip, or a toothpick, or a combination of them all, to create my dotticures.  You could also use a dried up ball point pen or the lead end of a pencil.  No need to buy those fancy schmancy dotting tools when you have so many around the house ;)

Christmas Dotticure

Happy Hump Day!!!  I only have 5-1/2 days left of work until I'm on Christmas holidays for 2 weeks!!  Where has the time gone?!  I'm running out of days to do Christmas nails!!!

Today I have for you a cute Christmas dotticure that I did last night, but I ran out of time to post about it.  I think I will try to post every other day rather than every day, it might be a little less stressful for me :)

Cute, right?!  For this I used Butter London Pillar Box Red (a perfect Christmas red) and Zoya Storm as my base colours.  Then on the red I dotted with Zoya Logan and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On, and applied 2 coats of Elixir Lacquers Peppermint Barque from her holiday collection over Storm :)

I really love this!  I think the dotticure compliments Peppermint Barque perfectly because of the small red and green hexes and the medium white hexes :)  I really love this glitter!  *sigh* I love Christmas!  Can we have it year 'round, pretty please with a cherry on top?!
