Afternoon readers!  It looks like spring is here, though I have heard that Western Canada and North Western US regions got some more snow overnight and I just want to say that I'm kinda jealous ;)  Although, hopefully the warmer weather here means no more peeling nails.. I had to hack my nails down last night, and will be working on the 3-day Pure Cuticle Oil Treatment today, tomorrow and Thursday, which means no polish for me till Friday *gasp!*

Today I've got for you an Avon polish that I have had for a long time, and have used a number of times.  This is Avon Mulberry.

Good morning readers!  If you were on my Facebook page yesterday, you saw that it was my BIRTHDAY!  :D  I turned 25 yesterday and had a nice relaxing day of doing nothing.  I slept in until about 11am, Tyler made me breakfast (pancakes with strawberries), I did my nails (obviously) and did some laundry.  That's about it :)  Oh, and I got to bring Owen to my house with me when I left Tyler's house yesterday afternoon :D

My weekend was a little hectic and I apologize for not being around much and not posting.  I will tell you what I was up to, but first, let's take a look at what was on my nails for my birthday!

Sally Hansen Mudslide and China Glaze Fairy Dust

Happy Monday!  This is the first of what I'm hoping to be 3 posts today, so let's get started!

This is what I did with my Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Mudslide mani last week.  I know, I told you to "come back tomorrow" on Thursday, but it was a bit of a hectic weekend!  I will go into more detail in one of my other posts :)

Hello again, I thought I would throw in a nail swatch today as well!  I have a couple for backup and although you are probably still oogling the Nail Swatch Stick Display post, here's something else for when you come out of your trance ;)

This is Elixir Lacquers A Mermaid's Tale.  I know I have swatched this on here a while ago, but when I was looking at the Elixir Lacquers storefront, I noticed that Nicole had put my swatch pictures in for A Mermaid's Tale and I actually cringed, lol!  I knew I could take better pictures of it if I redid them, so I did.  Wanna see the original swatch - click here (please don't laugh too hard ;) ).

Good lovely morning my fellow readers!  I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!  I did, though it was a busy and expensive one!

On Thursday night, I dropped my laptop on the floor off of my bed, and it fell screen first :(  There were lines and spots all in the display, so I decided to get myself a new laptop.  I kept wanting to clean the screen, but it wasn't going away, and it was getting worse the more I tried to use it.  I'm loving my new one, but Windows 8 is going to take a little getting-used-to :)

I finished up my Nail Swatch Stick Display Board last night and my dad hung it on my wall for me :D  OMG I'm in LOVE!!!

Julep Gwyneth

Howdie!  I hope everyone in Ontario made it safely through last night's storms!  We had a suspected EF-1 tornado touch down very close to the house around 5:45 last night, jump my house, and touch down again on the next line over to the east.  It was pretty scary, but I made it out unscathed and no damage done to the house and our property.  I count myself lucky because it took down part of a couple barns and uprooted some trees where the touch downs are reported.  My evening was pretty exciting, to say the least!

Today I have for you what I consider the most boring-est polishes in my entire collection - Julep Gwyneth.

This is 2 coats of Gwyneth over bare nails.  See what I mean, it's "blah".  This is a clear pink-tinted polish that almost looks like a base coat.  It did give an ever-so-slight  pink tint to my nails, which would be great for natural French manis, but I will not be wearing this on its own again.

This came out in the Classic With a Twist Maven Box in October 2012.  I decided to go with another style simply because I didn't like this polish, but I ended up with it anyways in a Mystery Box, but I don't recall which one.

Would you sport a colour like this, or is it a little too "blah" for you?

I hope everyone is having a good Thursday :)  I have to write my exam for my online course tomorrow, so I'm a bit nervous about that because I feel like the second half of the course went right over my head :(  Ah well!  It's almost over, lol!

Today's polish is another Tip Top Nails polish that Joan sent me for participating in the Cupcakes 4 Kids nail art week on the Facebook page last summer.  This is Night Rider!  I chose this one because the COTW for my nail group is Silver/Gold.

Good morning!!  Hopefully everyone recovered from their weekend!  How did everyone in Ontario fair through the ice storm we got Friday?  We did pretty good, lots of ice (which is now melted) and the hydro stayed on for the most part.  Unfortunately my exam was cancelled, so I have to write it this week instead.  Gives me more time to study :)

Good afternoon ladies and gents!  Guess what!?  We're under a winter weather watch for tonight and tomorrow!!  This may be my last blast of winter before the oppressive heat of summer descends upon us, so I'm going to enjoy it!

I have my "B" mani for you today for the ABC Challenge.  This is not at all what I had planned.  I had my base colour on for my "B" mani, then my sister asked me to remove her gel polish mani, which ruined my base colour before I could get my design done.  Oh well, onto bigger and better things, right?!

Happy Monday all!  What did everyone do over weekend?  Me, I was at a friend's all weekend.  We went to watch The Host, hang out, and eat junk (shhhh don't tell Tyler!).  I had what I wanted to put on my nails all in my head and it didn't pan out because I was thinking of a polish and had the wrong name in my head, so I ended up wearing Julep Oxygen all weekend, and it held up so well!  I was so pleasantly surprised :D
